It's been drawn to my attention that some of the male journalists in the Press Gallery at PMQs yesterday were more than slightly distracted from the main proceedings.
Whilst they should have been watching the leader's battle it out with bated breath, they found themselves gasping instead.
What caused such a fuss?
None other than shoe connoisseur Theresa May's rather fabulous over-the-knee, patent leather boots.
James Kirkup on the Telegraph's Three Line Whip blog notes that the Prime Minister made a few mistakes this PMQs.
Maybe she was trying to put Gordon off his stride?

Well done, Theresa May. A little bit of fun, difference and daring might make a shake-up in the boring world of politics.
I mean, seriously, who would want a leader of the country that just criticises and calls other people names? David Cameron? It's quite saddening to think that a Prime Minister could get to power by bitching about others. David Cameron is a shining example of this type of behaviour. Of course Obama and Clintons little spat earlier this week is an even finer example. PMQ is meant to be entertainment?!?! That doesn't sound right.

You must be joking the sight of Theresa in boots would make one want to wretch or at least put you off a good lunch!

My goodness me hell hath no fury like a New Labour luvies with their claws out defending the beloved leader!

Gordon Brown makes 'mistakes' otherwise known as misleading and/or untrue statements every week in his responses to the leader of the opposition. Its about time the speaker dragged him back to the Commons to apologise for misleading the House, which is a serious matter and which he does on a regular basis with impunity!

Perhaps the party opposite was hoping for "Shrek 2" before the "Puss In Boots" took the podium.

OOops, Just realised Theresa May was wearing the hideous leather jacket along with the jack boots!

I am not into leather or boots, but I do not see how such long and tightly clad shoe wear can cause a stir! Free dangling or dipping might be better. Only joking.

I doubt it Cheryl, he married class, sophistication and refinement.
There are some females men like to have fun with but know better than to bring home to Mum.
Pehaps she uses the footwear to take people's concentration of her eyes.
When she looks at people one eye does not care a "B" about the other, people never know which eye is looking at them.
Hence the need for the distraction.

Cheryl was there some Freudian connection with Theresa's over-the-knee, patent leather boots and James Kirkup on the Telegraph's Three Line Whip?
A politician choosing to selectively quote is not really breaking news,
As for name calling David Cameron possibly needs to watch his back listening of failed leaders; boy blunder, Ron Manager, Dracula and of course himself, Swiss Toni.
