And they said it would never cross over the Atlantic.
As the use of virals in the US Presidential election campaign continues to reach new heights, the glamour has been somewhat removed for the UK electorate.
The phenomenon has finally reached the London Mayoral elections. Here's the unofficial 'Back Boris' theme tune from the people at Boriswatch.
It may be no Will.i.am's 'Yes I Can', but that's how the British do it!

I reckon red ken has enough skeletons in his cupboard to win yet again! Fear over favor!

Ha, ha, hah!
The lack of sunlight north of Watford must seriously be damaging some of your northern correspondents' sense-of-humour! Maybe they should come down 'Sarf, and soak-up some extra Vitamin D...?
On a serious point, there is a growing mistrust and dislike with Ken. We may have a poor seed-pool, but Scotland's pool includes Brown and Darling, so no finger-pointing is required. [I believe Liverpool's pool is now a municipal dump, following the theft of the tiles encasing it. ;) ]
A large turn-out may be required to rid London of Ken. One is aware of a lot of hostility to said person, many whom used to be supporters. Boris ain't perfect but, then, who is...?

P.S. I can see some wag doing a.. slightly altered facsimile of that 'poster' shown behind Boris..
Perhaps by changing the first two letters of BACK BORIS!
'DUCK BORIS' maybe? lol.

Pass the sick bowl and the ear plugs. Yuk how tacky!
I have nothing against musical promotional material, but, please, at least let it be British, tasteful and funny in a nice way!

Nah Peter mate, my best Playground response would have been to beat you up and take your lunch money!
Just saying that what you describe sounds to me exactly like what labour did in 97 and still does today. Create slogans 'tough on crime...' 'education, education...' etc. Repeat them over and over and then brainwash the masses with 'crime is down' and 'education is better' And spend years insulting the Opposition (and our intelligence!)
Just my view man, chill dude!

Excellent tune! I'm gonna have to have a look at Boriswatch...

This isn't an official theme tune, I'm sure they'd get someone in the studio for that! This is clearly just a bit of fun by a Boris supporter.

Dave, Northants,
Is that your best playground response?
Details please.

Thats funny Peter that sounds EXACTLY like what Blair did in 1997 and what the Reds have been doing ever since!

I must state from the outset that Londoners will reap what they sow; that said they do not seem to have a very good seed catalogue from which to make their choice.
The theme of this song seems to mirror David Cameron’s efforts at Westminster, create slogans, repeat them over and over and try to programme the minds of the voters; a policy which I believe in both aforementioned instances treats voters as unthinking programmable individuals who are unable to make up their own minds based on the currently available information.
Is this to be the Conservative theme to accompany their Manifesto, insult your opponent and repeat said insults over and over again?
